We have been lucky to have Sohan's coaching. Sohan changes his style of coaching based on his student's strengths and weaknesses. He has excellent training material for every aspect of the game. Sohan focuses on all-round development and improvement in aspects of chess understanding of chess.He works with his students on how to handle attacking positions but beyond that he also coaches them on how to play the dull positions. His emphasis on practical decision making at the chess board is extremely useful.

My son (USCF Id: 14932943) took lessons from coach Sohan. I was very pleased with coach Sohan's approach; especially, the end game strategies were really impressive. It’s amazing how better my son's chess has matured in such a short time; his rating jumped-up in a matter of few weeks after the lessons.

My 9 year old daughter has started to really getting into chess, and is progressing well. Program is interactive and structured well. It formal and informal environment learning. Lessons are taught in many different ways - with conversation, exploration, and strategy etc.. My kid has opportunity to grow, learn, and be competitive.

Sohan sir is a very good teacher. Chess can be very hectic and tiresome for kids if the teacher cannot explain the terms in simple language. He explains the concepts in a very easy way. Sohan sir never loses his cool and is always smiling, we had sessions of 3 hours but not even once he had raised his voice.

My child has become familiar with him and likes him, which is the most important aspect in chess coaching, according to me. He is available for coaching online and offline. Also always available for clearing doubts on Phone, Whatsapp. He is Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.So the child never feels language as the barrier in learning.
